How do you feel about cupcakes?

Small, individual servings of cake, served in their own case and decorated with lashings and lashings of mouth-wateringly delicious waves of buttercream, ganache, handmade toppers and sprinkles… You might have guessed that I love cupcakes.

I love baking them, decorating them, dreaming up designs for them… but most of all, I love clearing up the leftovers when I’ve accidentally baked a few too many 😉

There are so many different variations of cupcakes available that just one blog would never do justice to their gorgeousness. So this blog is about cupcakes from Mini Mixers. What’s available and how to go about ordering them.

Cupcake flavours

Arguably the most crucial decision, what flavour do you want your cupcakes?

With so many flavours available, this can be the most time-consuming part of ordering cupcakes. There is a minimum order of 12 of these little beauties and I can only do one flavour per batch of 12 so bear that in mind when ordering.

Here’s a little glimpse at my most popular flavours:

🍯 Salted Caramel
🍓 Strawberry milkshake

The sponge can be coloured and combined with your choice of delicious flavoured or simple vanilla buttercream and why not include a filling of jam, spreads, ganache, curd… the possibilities and combinations are endless!

Cupcake decorations

Whether you’re after a simple but elegant buttercream swirl, or you need all the bells and whistles, I love dreaming up the perfect decorations for your party or celebration. Here are just a few ideas:

• Fondant toppers
• Stamped designs
• Embossed designs
• Piped swirls and decorations
• Sprinkles
• Chocolates
• Sweets…

The only thing I don’t do is piped flowers 💐
